A Wisconsin welding company:

The standard GE movable and stationary contacts use in our ring toll used to be replaced once per weeks. Now you resurface them with silver and they have lasted as long as six months. Your most recent resurfacing job using copper tungsten has been working out fine so far. Our electrical department checked these contacts after about a month of service for discoloration, pitting and wear and none has appeared as yet. Thanks for the great service.

This is to express our satisfaction concerning your plated contactor tips, for electrical contactors of mining equipment. As a matter of fact, we observed that they lasted at least three times longer as the regular copper contactor tips.

Another Wisconsin company.... Five years ago this past May, we were having a great deal of problems with contacts burning up on some of our larger circuit breakers (2000A, 15 KV) These breakers were completely overhauled every 6 months because of their extreme amount of use by our test floor. The contacts had to be rebuilt by brazing on new pads or cleaned up the best we could. We tried new contacts but they wore just as fast. then, I received a phone call from one of your salesmen explaining your product and service. So I thought I'd give you a shot at my contact problems. Two weeks later we had our plant shutdown, I sent you a large number of contacts for repair. I received the contacts back very quickly. We reinstalled the contacts and that was the last time I had to do anything to these contacts. I had the breakers apart this past July and there are no signs of wear at all. I sent you more tips from other equipment and got them back with the same satisfaction and results. Thank you for the fine job -- it makes my job a lot easier with service like yours.
