Motor Starter Contacts
Contacts are essential to the electrical equipment found in the industrial market place. Motor starter contacts can be
found in all sizes in every industrial location including steel mills, paper mills, fabricating plants, foundries, automotive
industries, ship builders, pipeline companies, and many other facets of
industry.
WW Components, Inc. uses the finest contact material available with maximum thickness to cover outside
dimensions which are acceptable to the device in which it is used. We are capable of repairing almost any type of motor
starter contact, whether it is current, obsolete, foreign, or domestic. These capabilities also extend to some
manufacturing applications upon request, so be sure to inquire with our customer service department for any special

Low & Medium Voltage Contacts
The low and meduim voltage contacts are generally found in air circuit breakers, high current switches, auto
transformers, et cetera. These devices usually utilize seperate arcing and current carrying contacts. Whether you are
a municipality or utility company, contacts can be found in main power sources, sub stations, and water treatment
plants. Many of these contacts are controlled through city and public services, electrical co-operatives or individual
service companies.
If your company maintains its own electrical equipment, WW Components, Inc. is your "One Stop" service company
for providing contacts and other related services. We clean and repair the contacts, silver plate, replace springs,
shunts, pins, and other worn out parts as necessary. We also furnish, at a supplemental cost, the disassembly and
reassembly of small complex contact assembly units. Be sure to check with our Customer Service Department on any
obsolete equipment in regards to repair or manufacture.
High Voltage Contacts
WW Components, Inc. first began working with low voltage motor starter contacts. However, over the years, we have
expanded our expertise to include medium and high voltage contacts as well as other contact related products. With this
expansion of services, WW Components, Inc. has continued to keep its highest priority "QUALITY" along with
competetive pricing.
The types of contacts we capable are of manufacturing and/or repairing air blast, air circuit, gas circuit, oil circuit, and
molded case breakers. Other work done in this field includes disconnect clusters, custom bus work, load tap changers,
and other various high voltage equipment repair.
WW Components, Inc. has tested our manufactured and repaired contacts throughout the years to assure our
customers of the highest quality possible. if testing is required by a customer, WW Components, Inc. can offer
moderate to extensive testing (depending on your application), for a reasonable cost from various independent facilities
across the country.
WW Components, Inc. has the results of the testing on our design and manufacture of stationary finger assemblies.
The tests preformed proved the longevity and quality of our product. The endurance test on a large (OCB) Oil Volume
Circuit Breaker 450; (33kv; 800 amps; 750 MVA) took place in Milano, Italy and copies are available upon request. The
